Has been with Canada's National Women's Team since the 1989-90 season taking part in three Olympic Winter Games (1998, 2002, 2006); seven IIHF World Women's Championships (1990-1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005); seven Four Nations Cups (1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004) and the Torino Ice Tournament (2005)...Has won 18 medals with Canada's National Women's teams, including 15 gold medals and 3 silver medals...Named to Canada's 2003 IIHF World Women's Championship roster, but the championship was subsequently cancelled..Attended the Team Canada Thanksgiving Festival in Kitchener ON in October 2004, and in Dartmouth NS in October 2003...Has been an alternate captain with Canada's National Women's Team since November 27, 2001.

HOCKEY BACKGROUND

Won gold medal 2006 Esso Women's National Championship with Brampton Thunder... Finished second in 2004-05 with the NWHL's Brampton Thunder at both the NWHL Championship and the Esso Women's National Championship... Won an Ontario (OWHA) provincial championship and 2 silver medals at the Esso Women's Championship with the Brampton Thunder in 2003 and 2005...Won a bronze medal with Ontario (Beatrice Aeros) at the 1999 Esso Women's National Championship... Played with the Newtonbrock (ON) Panthers in 1996-97...Won a silver medal with the North York Aeros at the 1996 Esso Women's National Championship...Played with the Toronto Red Wings from 1994-96...Played with the Scarborough Firefighters and the University of Toronto Blues from 1990-92, twice winning the OWIAA Championship with the Blues...Named to the All-American All-Star Team in 1989-90 while attending Northeastern University (NCAA)...Won the ECAC Championship with Northeastern in 1988-89.
